I've been pretty stressed lately. Morning sickness kicked in over a week ago. Its been rough. The house is never clean any more, the kids wear Pjs just about all day, and I haven't cooked in over a week. Yeah, its been a long week here. lol

I haven't had time, or the energy really, to read my bible much lately. (I feel horrible, I have SO MUCH to be thankful for and I can't even work in 10 minutes to read the bible daily? I gotta work on that). Anyways.

I asked God to lead me some where in the bible. Some thing that He wants me to read.

And He did!

I randomly opened the bible to Proverbs 22. Here are some notes I wrote down while reading :

Proverbs 22: 2 Rich and the poor have this in common, The Lord is the Maker of them all.

Proverbs 22: 4 Humility and the fear of the Lord bring wealth and honor and life.

Proverbs 22:17 - 19 Pay attention and listen to the sayings of the wise; apply your heart to what I teach, 18 for it is pleasing when you keep them in your heart and have all of them ready on your lips. 19 So that your trust may be in the Lord, I teach you today, even you.

All of those really stuck out to me! I've had ALOT of my mind, money, kids, house, and trying to fit in more bible time. The last verses related to me - I need to read and study my bible MORE. And the first and second verses connected with me where I have been worrying so much about money.

I mean, don't we all worry about money? ALOT? I know I do. Its constantly on my mind. How am I going to cover all the bills, and still have money left over? How am I going to get money into savings if we have ot keep taking money OUT of savings? Its a never ending process really. lol But, I need to learn to pray about it more. Give all to God and let him work on it for me. Why? Because he knows what is best for my family. I think I do, but really I have no idea. He does tho. SO I need to rely on him more. Pray before making decisions etc. And I'm going to do my best to do so from now on!

I also read a little passage out of my study bible about what we consider as "wealth" and what God considers as "wealth". Here is what I wrote down from it.

God's inheritance isn't about quarterly dividens, rather its about the heart. In God's eyes, spiritual riches are acquired by being rich toward him, by exhibiting a humble reverence for his awesome holiness.

Just thought I would share this. :)

Respect your husband.

David and I have been together 5 years, 6 years this November. We've been married for 3 years, 4 years this October. And I love him with all my heart. But, do I respect him? I can honestly say that just a couple days ago, I did not respect him. And honestly, I may never have really respected him. I had never thought of it really. I mean, I'm home all day. I make all the decisions, about EVERYTHING, I do not take his opinion seriously on many things, okay most things(because I always thought my way was best). I didn't want to do things he wanted to do, because I had things I wanted to do. I didn't really listen to him talk, about anything. Like work, or something that he enjoys like his video games. I just also tuned him out to continue what ever I was doing. Because I thought it wasn't very important. And it may not be important to me, but it is important to him. So I need to make it important to me.

I was reading in my bible about respecting your husband. I found alot of useful information.

Proverbs 14:1- The wise woman builds her house, but the foolish pulls it down with her hands.

In my study bible it says this about that verse : Every wife has the power to create or destroy her relationship with her husband.

The day that I found this David and I were in an argument about something personal. But I just couldn't figure out WHY he couldn't see my side of the argument? And we have had this same argument for years. And it gets very tiring having the same argument every couple weeks. So I went to my bible and looked for verses related to marriage. I came across the one above. "The wise woman builds her house, but the foolish pulls it down with her hands". A wise woman works it out with her husband, understands HIS side and trys to cooperate so that way both are happy. But the foolish one refuses to see the other side, thinks that her side is the right side no matter what. And I was the foolish one!

Ephesians 5:33- Nevertheless, let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.

Respect. Wives need to respect their husbands. Why? Men are difficult :) Honestly. We all know that! LOL Men need respect, espically(sp?) from their wives. Its kinda like how women need love, they need to feel loved, well men need to be respected. And they need to feel that they are respect. When men are respected they feel good about themselves, they are confident, and they get strength from it. I'm always telling David he needs to show me he loves me more, because sometimes I get caught up in MOMMY role that I just dont feel very loved as a WIFE. Well, in the aspect, I need to show David more respect. He is my husband, my best friend, and I need to respect him in any way possible.

I read those verses a few days ago, and I prayed and read some more. I decided that I was going to start respecting David more. And guess what, we are both alot happier now! :) And its not hard! I just listen to him, talk to him about the thigns that he likes, instead of it always being about ME or the kids. I ask him for his opinions on things, and I wait for an answer. Before, he woudl just say something, anything, because he knew I wasn't paying attention really. And now we both talk about decisions that need to be made and we do it together. We are both still working on our relationship. But, one thing I can really contribute is respect for him.

A very blessed day.

Well. I went today and got the pregnancy confirmed. Due date is October 8th 2012. I'm super excited! I have wanted another baby for a while, and I'm so glad that God worked it all out to work this way. We got the new bigger SUV just one week before finding out that baby number three is on the way. Now we will not have to spend one thousand dollars on car seats to fit in a tiny car!

I am so excited. Its almot like starting all over again. Well I am in a way! I always gave away/or sold all the kids stuff as soon as they out grew everything. WEll. I will NEVER do that again. I am keeping everything no matter what David says about another baby after this! I do have some of the bigger items. The play pins(I still want a new pack and play with changing station and bassinet built in). And we need a new bouncy seat, and all new clothes from newborn up because I only have 3/4t of taylors things which is what she is in now, and only have some 18-24 month which is what Ryder is in. So.. Gotta get all that stuff again.

Anyways. I do not have a bible verse to post tonight. I have been pretty busy doing all the stuff to get the pregnancy confirmed. And I hope tomorrow to take time to update with some new verses I come across, and some photos of the day. I have one for yesterday, Zoey's birthday!(a little girl that I baby sit). Anyways. For now its time for me to go to bed :)

Saw this on facebook and had to post it here! I know ALOT of people who only pray for things they want. But, they never take time to pray for all that God has already blessed them with. I honestly pray daily, and I'm not asking for something every time. I'm always praying about how thankful I am that God blessed me with David, Taylor, Ryder, my mom and step dad, sister. And how thankful I am that David has a job. That we can pay our bills. That we live in our house. That we finally have a vehicle that fits our family. If you stop and look at your life, you always have ALOT to be thankful for.

Please do not post to my facebook page about this, just yet. I haven't said antyhing on there. I want to wait and be 100000% sure that is true :) Waiting for the dr confirmation before posting on there :)

I haven't announced it on Facebook, and only immediate family and friends know. BUT we are expecting baby number 3! I am only 4 weeks and 1-2 days. So its still VERY early. I'm praying for a healthy and happy baby in October:)

I'm not sure when I will post it on facebook, probably after the dr confirms it. But I have taken like 9 pregnancy tests and all are positives and getting darker by the day! I'm so excited. I've been praying for another baby for a while.

Draw my eyes to you, Lord.

I haven't had much time to blog lately, or to even read my bible. Today I was reading in Genesis and was reading about Rachel and Leah and Jacob. Rachel had beauty, and Leah didn't. Rachel had Jacob's heart, but again Leah didn't. Leah thought that by giving him son's, his love would grow for her. But it didn't. So she kept on having babies, thinking that each time would be different. She could give him something that Rachel could not, but that still did not help her win his love.

at the bottom of the page it had a prayer : Lord, the next I look to some person, thing or idea to complete me, draw my eyes to you instead.

I think thats a great prayer we should all memorize, and add to and pray with emotion. I know personally, I'm always looking at cameras that I think I HAVE to have, or at clothes or toys that I think the children HAVE to have. Or at things my husband HAS to have. And I know its not like those things would complete us in any way, but instead I should be looking for ways to draw us all closer to the Lord. I am trying to teach the kids every day out of the bible I got for them. But its hard, Taylors only 3 and Ryder is 17 months. They don't really pay much attention. But I am trying. And with DAvid its a different story. I try to randomly talk to him about this stuff and sometimes he listens and sometimes he doesn't. I just pray taht I can continue to help lead him to the Lord..

Bible Verses

Jeremiah 12:1-2 - You are always righteous O Lord when I bring a cause before you. Yet I would speak with you about your justice; Why does the way of the wicker prosper? Why do all the faithless live at ease? You have planted them, and they have taken root; they grow and bear fruit. You are always on their lips but far from their hearts.

Proverbs 14:31 - He who compresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honors God.

1 Samuel 10:6 - The Spirit of the Lord will come upon you in power; and you will prophesy with them; and you will be changed into a different person.

Had to say goodbye to Zeek :(

So. We got Zeek on October 2nd. For my birthday.(Which is the 4th). I fell in love with him as soon as I saw him. I could hold him in one hand, he was so afraid adn just cuddled right up to me. It took him about two weeks to get used to us, then he was up and playing with the kids. He grew so fast. By Halloween he was bigger then my moms Dashound(sp?). By Thanksgiving he was huge. He LOVED the turkey bones we gave him. And the scraps :) By Christmas, he was a horse! I wanted to dress him as santa, that would have been so cute! But everyone else said no. Then when we went to Davids family's house we stopped by Pet Smart up there and bought him some HUGE bones they had on sale. He LOVED them! He still has them, where ever he is, at his new home.

It took a while but we finally found him a new home. The lady lived way up in Somerset but came to about 20 minutes form our house to get him. I cried while waiting in the truck with him and David for the new family to get there to get him. He is a handful, but I love him. He had the best personality ever. Loved everyone. The kids LOVED him to death. He was great with them. He loved to drag EVERYTHING outside the doggy door and it was lost till David or I went out and found it, then washed it. We repeated that every few days. He always stole my tooth brush, and he would eat ANYTHING. And Ryder always had to feed him whatever he eating. Ry would throw food on the floor and yell ZEEEEEEK lol :)

Mini School/Home Schooling Day ONE.

Well! Today has been great! We done mini school for 30 minutes this morning. Taylor loved it! She kept saying she was going to school:) We read the bible story, went over the pictures, learned about the animals on the picture etc.
Then we moved on to what the book said that God crated the fi
rst day. Light and Dark. We played with the light switches adn lights to s

ee light and dark. Then we played the matching color game with light and dark colors. She LOVED this by the way! And then we moved on to the number of the day, 1. We wrote 1 and ONE and then we moved on to writing her name, knowing the letters in her name, and then drawing sq

uares. She done great :)

Ryder played really well while we done this. He colored some, and I helped him with some plastic eggs and colors of them. :)
