Over the past few weeks I have been doing a ton of research online about preschool home schooling. From what I've read its simple. Preschool is just a time to teach letters, numbers etc. Taylor already knows all the letters and the numbers to 15 or 20. And I know she LOVES to do school time. So, I am starting on August 13th with home schooling full time with her. AND with Ryder!
I already have the year planned out. And I know that we will be doing Letter Of The Week for sure. I'm going to let Ryder sit in with us at "school time" and let him color etc. along with Taylor. I'm going to work on teaching Taylor everything first, and once she is busy on her own I am going to work with Ryder some on his letters and numbers. Its never too early to start, and I think both will have a lot of fun!
I already have a huge stack of papers with lists of things I need to buy, things to look at online, etc. I'm super excited to get started, but these next couple months will be me planning out what we are doing when :)

Mini School/Home Schooling Day ONE.
Then we moved on to what the book said that God crated the fi
rst day. Light and Dark. We played with the light switches adn lights to s
ee light and dark. Then we played the matching color game with light and dark colors. She LOVED this by the way! And then we moved on to the number of the day, 1. We wrote 1 and ONE and then we moved on to writing her name, knowing the letters in her name, and then drawing sq
uares. She done great :)
Ryder played really well while we done this. He colored some, and I helped him with some plastic eggs and colors of them. :)
Lesson plan for next 6 days
So I can finally get a lesson plan set now that I have the kids Bible Stories here now! :) Here is what my lesson plan looks like for the next 6 days.
I took the very first story in the book, CREATION. And I read it through, and made little notes on my paper. It explains what God made in the first 6 days. So I took those 6 days and I'm making a lesson out of each day!
Day 1 : Light and Dark. Read the story to the kids. Show light and dark with lights in the house. Then go around the house looking for dark colored objects and light colored objects. Color with light crayons and dark crayons. Play a matching game(I'm about to make a matching game of light and dark matching colors for this game). Number of the day, 1. Learn to write 1 and then to also spell it. (Not hoping for much here she is only 3 lol) ONE. Go over ONE and practice writing it. Draw a big 1 and write ONE under it and let her color it in, then tape it on our little wall for home schooling. Color of the day is all colors, light and dark. Shape of the day square, since the matching game will have square cards.
Day 2 : (Review previous day and reread the story) Sky. Teach that the sky is very high up and covers the whole earth! Its always blue. Clouds are in the sky, they can make the sky look dark and scary before a storm. Rain comes from clouds and storms too! Draw a picture of a storm, sky clouds lightening and rain. Number of the day, 2. Do the same for number 2 as we did for number 1. Review letters, sing alphabet etc. Shape of the day rectangle.
Day 3 : Review 1 & 2, reread story. Mountains,Oceans, Trees, and flowers. Mountains are very high up. They are very big! Draw a picture of a BIG mountain and a small hill to show the difference, let Taylor help and color everything in. Oceans are very deep! They can be blue and green. The Atlantic Ocean is the closest ocean to us. Trees can be very tall or short. They have leaves, trunk, and branches. Draw a big tree adn a little tree. Flowers can be all colors. Number of the day 3, draw 3 flowers etc. Shapes of the day, Triangle, Circle and rectangle.
Day 4 : Sun,Moon,Stars(Review all other days as well). The sun is very big. Its yellow/orange. Its VERY hot(look at some things in the house that are HOT and that we do not want to touch). Draw the sun. The moon is very big too! astronauts have been to the moon! Draw the moon in all phases to show that the Moon looks different. Stars, there are a LOT of them. Look outside that night at the stars. Draw stars, color them, count them etc. Number of the day 4, sing alphabet etc. Shapes of the day Circles and Stars.
Day 5 : Fish for the oceans and lakes. Birds and butterflies. (Review all other days). Number of the day is 5. Draw fish, birds and butterflies. Draw 5 of each. Fish live underwater, they swim and breathe underwater. They can be very big or very small. Draw a big fish and small fish, (Compare BIG things and little things in the house and outside). Birds fly up in the sky, they have wings that let them fly. They can be alot of different colors, and they build nests in trees! Draw birds, and nests in the trees. Butterflies fly too! they have very pretty wings. Draw butterflies and color in the pretty wings!
Days 6 : God created all animals. Draw alot of different animals, name all animals on the story pages. Learn how some animals live in the water, some fly in the sky, some live in the ground, and some like dogs and cats and horses live on the ground. Number of the 6. Review numbers 1-6. Review all shapes, circles, squares, rectangles, stars, triangles. Review colors and letters as well. Maybe throw in a matching game of the animals. Whats Taylors favorite animal? Go over animal sounds too.
So thats what I have for the first 6 days. :) Hopefully it all goes well. I plan to do 30 minutes in the morning time, then about 15 minutes before lunch, and then another 30 minutes after nap time. :)

I Found this picture on Pinterest.com. It was under the home schooling section. I decided to look up all the verses and write them down. So here they are :)
Phil. 4:13 - I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Deut. 6:5 You shall love the Lord your God with all heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
2 Peter 1:2-3 Grace and peace be multiplied to you in knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness through the knowledge of him who called us by glory and virtue.
James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be giving to him.
Isaiah 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes I will help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Psalm 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
Gal. 6:9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
Eph. 4:29 Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification that it may impact grace to the hearers.
2 Tim. 2:16 But shun profane and idle babblings, for they will increase to more ungodliness.
Acts 4:13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus.
All good verses to memorize! I am going to put these at the front of my Bible Binder, as I call it :)

Snowy Day
We have a little bit of snow out side, and I wanted to take the kids out to play in it.. But, both are still kinda sick, snotty noses and sneezing etc. Both are taking naps right now, hopefully they wake up feeling better..
I've been reading more of my bible, and trying to make sense of it all. Hopefully I will have some more stuff related to that to post soon :)
I started "mini-school" with Taylor today. She really enjoyed it. She can write A, and P, and T, and O, and knows all her colors, shapes, and just about all the letters. She can draw a circle, but the squares and rectangles and other

shapes are a little hard for her right now. She's only 3 after all lol. She likes to try and draw pictures, and they look super cute :) Then we hung up the pictures on the wall
and on the fridge, Ryder on the other hand got mad while we were doing "mini school". He ate the crayons and threw the paper.. Hopefully he gets more into it, or I can find him some activites to do at the table while Taylor and I do this. Theres a picture of what we covered today mostly. We done the letter A, and spelled Apple alot(she pretty much knows what the word is but gets confused because I say here is Apple, and its not an apple its just letters toget
her... lol) And then we done the color purple and tried to write purple, another picture posted below of the P and the U she done. And then we tried to go over how to spell her name, but she was losing interested by this point. So I made this paper to remember what we covered today. Monday we will do this agian maybe 2 times a day maybe 30 min each time since she gets bored with it after that.. :)
